Comments:
Hi there. I put this on my 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Widebody to wake it up a little bit over the stock pipes. I noticed a jump in power immediately. The elimination of the AEV means it's louder at lower RPM, and I would say it's 20% louder than stock under throttle. The packed mufflers drone a bit around 2,000rpm, but once the vehicle is up to speed and there isn't much load on the engine, the drone is reduced and manageable. Another plus is the burble when decelerating.
A couple challenges: it came with the wrong instruction sheet, and I also thought the instructions could have benefited from some tips and tricks for fitment. It also had the wrong size clamps for the tips (this kit re-uses the OE tips). Luckily, I had done 3 or 4 LX cars before, so making the adjustments for everything to work properly wasn't a big deal. The separate mufflers made for a difficult install compared to kits with the mufflers welded in place--it's hard to get them both lined up horizontally and also longitudinally; the passenger side exhaust tip is about 1" out from the valance.
All in all, a good kit, nice quality piping and mufflers. Just takes a little finesse to get it to work.
