Pypes Equipped Chevys » 1969 LeMans Blue Camaro Coupe

Mike Langieri's 3" Pypes Exhaust The car is a 1969 LeMans Blue Camaro Coupe, its been restored over a 10 year period, and its powered by a 461 cubic inch BBC that was built by Finger Lakes Machine in Syracuse, New York. The 454 CI engine has been bored .030” over, and has forged pistons, a steel crank, Oval Port 781 heads, and a solid lifter Comp Cam. Fuel delivered by a 4170 Holley Double-Pumper and an Edelbrock Performer intake. Pertonix electronic ignition give ist the spark. Headers are Hooker Competitions Ceramic coated with 2” primaries and a 3-1/2” collector. Transmission is a Super T10 4-speed with Hurst linkage. I’d categorize the car as a “driver” although its won well over a dozen trophies at various local shows. Its leaning towards the Pro-Touring genre with Hotchkis springs, Helwig sway bar, Helix tubular control arms, and ProForged components. Front brakes are Wilwoods, rear discs are coming this year, along with Vintage Air and a Rally Sport front grill with hideaway headlights
